Instructor Program Description
The Mosley Instructor Program teaches vital skills that provide a comprehensive practice using a hands-on approach to theory by working with live models and clients. Learn to master the art of practicing, showing and teaching students the skills they need to know about nails, hair, and skin from the smallest detail to the largest detail step by step. Mosley’s Instructor Program will prepare you for teaching, both practical and theory skills. You will study how to prepare students with the needed skills and abilities for a prosperous career.
The main goals for an instructor are:
- Learn and be able to use a number of teaching styles
- Complete the instructors textbook and workbook
- Knowing the proper techniques and procedures
- Be able to demonstrate how and why things are done
- Know the way they need to be done in order to have a successful outcome.
The objectives as an Instructor are to learn all of the phases and steps in the art of teaching, to have patience, and professionalism along the way and throughout the process of becoming an Instructor.
Program Details
Cosmetology Instructor
- Total Hours: 500
- Tuition Cost: $4,000.00
- Length of Classes: 3 - 6 months
Esthetician Instructor
- Total Hours: 300
- Tuition Cost: $3,000
- Length of Classes: 3 - 6 months
Nail Technician Instructor
- Total Hours: 300
- Tuition Total: $3,000.00
- Length of Classes: 3 - 6 months
Part-Time Instructor Program
- Hours: 20 - 25 hours per week required
Full-Time Instructor Program
- Hours: 35-40 hours per week required
School Hours
- 9:00 am – 2:00 pm Monday – Friday
- 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm Monday & Wednesday
Requirements & Grading System
- 80-100 Satisfactory/Passing
- 79 & below Unsatisfactory/Failing
- Mosley School of Cosmetology Students must pass with a minimum of 80% grade level.
Dress Code
- Black pants or skirt
- Black, white or gray shirt
- No sleeveless shirts
- Totally enclosed black shoes Apron
