Note: Students at Mosley School of Cosmetology, regardless of program of study,  are ineligible for VA educational benefits or Michigan Student Aid funds (including TIP). Use the  GI Bill Comparison Tool to locate a VA-approved school. Go to the  MI Student Aid Programs page and open the Fact Sheet for any program  you qualify for to find a list of participating schools.  We apologize for the inconvenience. 

Loan Related Disclosures

Students at Mosley School of Cosmetology, regardless of program of study, are ineligible for Michigan Student Aid grants of scholarships. Michigan Student Aid funds can usually only be used at public universities, community colleges, and/or non-profit independent colleges. Students who are eligible for Michigan Student Aid can go to the MI Student Aid Programs page and open the Fact Sheet for any program they qualify for to find a list of participating schools.

The U.S. Department of Education provides information on student loans at studentaid.gov/understand-aid/types/loans and studentaid.gov/h/manage-loans. Any student who needs help accessing or understanding this information is welcome to contact the Office of Financial Aid and we will do our best to assist.

All first-time borrowers of a Federal Direct Loans (other than consolidated or Parent PLUS loans) must have Entrance Counseling on file prior to the first disbursement.

The Entrance Counseling at StudentAid.gov satisfies Mosley School of Cosmetology’s entrance counseling requirement.

Go to studentaid.gov/entrance-counseling and select “I am an Undergraduate”.

A student borrower of a Federal Direct Subsidized or Unsubsidized Loan must complete Exit Counseling within 30 days of dropping below half-time enrollment, graduating, or leaving school for any reason (unless on an approved Leave of Absence).

The Exit Counseling at StudentAid.gov satisfies Creative Hair School of Cosmetology’s exit counseling requirement.

Go to studentaid.gov/exit-counseling and select “I am an Undergraduate”.

Mosley School of Cosmetology does not offer private education loans or have any preferred lender arrangements.

Students who wish to borrow a private education loan, should be aware that they may qualify for loans or other assistance under the Title IV, Higher Education Act programs, and that the terms and conditions of the Title IV loans may be more favorable than the provisions of the private education loans.
