Natural Hair Program

Mosley School of Cosmetology’s Natural Hair Cultivation program includes the practice of techniques that result in tension on hair strands such as twisting, wrapping, weaving, extending, locking, or braiding of the hair by hand, which work does not include the application of dyes, reactive chemicals, or other preparations to alter the color or to straighten, curl the hair.

Course Hours & Tuition

Total Hours: 400
Tuition Cost: $4,000

Part-Time

Hours: 20 - 34 hours per week required
Length of Classes: 5 months

Full-Time

Hours: 35 - 40 hours per week required
Length of Classes: 12 weeks
All students spend their first 100 hours in the classroom
Remaining hours spent as a senior student on the salon floor

School Hours

9:00 am – 5:00pm Monday – Friday

Requirements & Grading System

80-100 Satisfactory/Passing
79 & below Unsatisfactory/Failing
Mosley School of Cosmetology Students must pass with a minimum of 80% grade level.

A $200.00 non-refundable application fee and signed enrollment agreement is due at registration.
